Appearance: He has spiky red hair and has a physique of a bodybuilder. Setanta Macness is one of the minor characters introduced early on in the series. A battle harden warrior, his taste for battle is unquenchable. He is not above forsaking orders from his superiors as long as he is entertained. He abides by a respectable and chivalrous code as he was willing to give Lugh and Dia a chance to escape as long as they defeated him in battle. Despite Lugh using an under-handed tactic to win, he decided to allow them to escape by going into hiding himself, hoping that they’ll meet in battle again. The reason behind his uncanny and superhuman strength is because he is first Squire of the Hero Epona, allowing him to share the Hero's strength. This left him with two limitations, the first being that he is not allowed to go against the Hero's orders, with the second being that he is not allowed to lose a fight, otherwise his powers would be returned, never to be given again as predetermined by the Hero's innate skill. Berserker - An S-ranked skill that increases his magic powers, attacks, defence and endurance at the cost of losing his sense of reason. After activating this ability, it would heal all of his previous sustained wounds. removing any and all superficial damage done to his body. Unknown skill - He has a skill to counter-act his berserker skill side-effect, allowing him to maintain his composure in battle. -He wields the divine treasure Gáe Bolg. -Both his name and weapon are inspired by the legendary Irish Hero Cu Chulainn, famous for his ferocious fighting ability and equally infamous spear.
