Age: 22 An occult writer rumored to have an ability to commune with ghosts. He lives by himself in an apartment inherited from his grandfather. He has few human connections because of his involvement with the "world of darkness". His awkwardness in dealing with others makes him an easy target for teasing. He owns a ring inhabited by a spirit who takes on the form of a human girl whenever he wears it. As a child, Sylph was bullied by his peers in school and beaten by his father because of his "ability to see". He left his abusive father to live with his grandfather for two years. After his grandfather died, Maria, the woman who gave Sylph the ring, became Sylph's guardian. She mysteriously disappeared when Sylph was eleven years old. He admits that he has become attached to Angelica while looking after her.
